LUNCH
Let the warm and comforting flavours the Punjab nourish your body and soul. Robin Mand of Robin's Kitchenette will be creating a meal of Palak Paneer. Sauteed cubes of spiced paneer is simmered in a spinach sauce seasoned with spices, onions and herbs. Served over a bed of basmati rice fragrant with toasted cumin seeds. Served with a fresh side salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and slivered red onions with a simple dressing of lemon juice and black salt (North Indian style). To top it off Robin is making her amazing paranatha flatbread, flaky and charred to perfection. It's not to be missed.
DINNER
Dinner transports you to Taiwan. Chia-Ni Lin founded Jiandan Taiwanese street food with a Canadian fusion twist. The menu includes a stir fry vermicelli studded with seasoned deep fried tofu, black fungi, and vegetable medley. Accompanying the stir fry is traditional Taiwanese tea egg and a smashed cucumber salad marinated in a sesame dressing. It's a flavour festival for your taste buds.
