Sanctuary City

There are hundreds of cities across the world that identify as a “Sanctuary Cities”. It means different things in different countries but here in Toronto it means that undocumented residents can safely access municipal services like libraries, shelters, and emergency health care without fear of deportation. Sanctuary Cities colour is purple. It also traditionally represents the 2SLGBTQI community. So we love purple because purple means love.
