 ory of culture and community. Whet your appetite with rice kubbeh stuffed 
 with spinach\, pomegranate seeds and walnuts\, then join at the demo stati
 on to prepare Iraqi chicken biryani\, a fragrant yellow rice with vermicel
 li and spiced chicken thighs\, topped with onions\, raisins and almonds. G
 et hands on to make a showstopper layered salad with vibrant vegetables\, 
 greens\, fried pita drizzled with a creamy yogurt dressing. Then finish th
 e hearty meal with a refreshing silky milk pudding topped with crunchy shr
 edded phyllo and pistachios served alongside chai (tea). As always all our
  workshops are halal friendly! This small group workshop is held in the lo
 vely\, newly renovated Newcomer Kitchen workshop space on the top floor ce
 ntury loft in downtown Toronto with easy access to the TTC. $55.00 PP incl
